Assistant Guru offers a number of administrative, office management and project management services to suit your individual requirements. Working with a Virtual Assistant has many benefits, as I work on a self-employed basis, saving you money (as you only pay for the hours of work you require, plus there are no employment costs such as PAYE, NI, holiday or sickness).

Administrative Services:

Assistant Guru provides a range of administrative support services, and deals with a variety of tasks to help ease your daily workload.  I can also work with you on larger, longer-term projects. No matter what your requirements, you can feel confident that your business is being managed professionally:

Office Management: to enable you to concentrate on other areas of your business, I can manage various aspects of your office; planning meetings, diary management (using on-line applications such as Google calendar & My Office), and contacts database management (including Daylite on Mac).

Word processing: for times when you require documents typed or formatted to the highest quality. Either e-mail, post, courier or fax your notes, or draft documents, and I can type and/or format these as required.

Powerpoint presentations: let me know your aims and objectives, and I can produce professional and imaginative presentations.

Mail Shots: to ensure your business remains front of mind, and your customers are regularly contacted, I can prepare and distribute letters, circulars, Christmas cards, change of address cards, and invitations.

Newsletters: using Mailchimp, I can design your electronic newsletter.  In addition, set up contact lists and help write and source content for your newsletter.

Research: when you require help researching a particular product, subject, or when you need help sourcing images, for a book or article that you’re writing, I can provide you with the information you need. This service is for information readily available on the Internet only, and does not include more complex market research from published sources.

Excel spreadsheets: from keeping your accounts and managing client records to providing financial reports, I can help you with any spreadsheets that you need.

Invoices: keeping up-to-date records of all your finances/receipts and producing invoices to be sent to clients, along with regular statements for your own accounts.  I am also able to track your client payments and chase late payments.

Client liaison: I can keep in touch with your clients, whether this be to confirm appointments or to keep them informed about an event, you can be assured that your clients will receive the best possible service.  I also send birthday cards and thank you cards to your clients, where required.

Project management: many clients that I work with offer workshops, retreats, lectures and training events as part of their business.  I can co-ordinate all aspects of managing the administration for such projects. From sending out invites, managing the responses, tracking payments, and liaising with those attending, to organising the venue, all your requirements can be taken care of.

Travel arrangements: it can be very time-consuming investigating the most convenient way to get to an event or appointment, particularly if you are travelling internationally. I can organise all aspects of your travel for you, including your hotel arrangements. I will make the arrangements to ensure your travel time is as stress free as possible.

Lifestyle Management Services:

Do you often feel that there just aren’t enough hours in the day? This is where Assistant Guru can help.  I offer a range of Lifestyle Management services to help you keep on top of things.

Creative gift services: its great giving people a personal and well thought out gift, but I appreciate that this takes time – so leave it to me. Let me know who it’s for, and the budget you have, and I will find the perfect gift, no matter what the occasion.

Researching and making reservations: for theatre, restaurants, hotels and holidays. You still want to enjoy your time away from the business, and when you are too busy to think about arranging your social life, I can help. From recommending the best restaurants according to your taste in food to investigating holiday destinations, I can do all of this for you.

Help chasing invoices, paying bills, parking tickets, congestion charges: so often you have a long list of ‘must do’ tasks on your list, that can become very time consuming when you have to make several phone calls to get them sorted.  I can do all of this for you, so that you can concentrate on more important aspects of your business and life.

Rates

Work is charged from £30 per hour, although most clients pay for time in blocks of 10, 20, 30 or 50 hours per month, for on-going support. Please contact me for more details on rates and packages available.

Hourly rates relate to professional services and will include time spent on the assignment, liaison with client by telephone or email and face-to-face meetings. Any additional specific costs incurred such as stationery, postage, packing, travel and other expenses will be charged separately at cost price.
