About

Emma Bibby
Virtual Assistant & Director - Assistant Guru
I set up Assistant Guru with a genuine desire to help professionals working in the holistic health and well-being industry develop their business, by managing their administrative workload. Allowing them to enjoy a better work/life balance, and gain the space and time to focus on what’s important to them and their company. Centred around my passion and belief in complementary and alternative therapies, plus years of experience as an Account Manager, PA, and Reflexologist, I wanted to unite all of my skills and focus specifically on supporting the many inspiring people working in this industry. Having been a part-time Reflexologist for many years, I gained an appreciation of the demands of running a business, whilst trying to concentrate on the needs of your clients, and generating new ideas to take the business forward.
Over the past 10 years I have worked as both a PA, and Account Manager, in London-based advertising companies, and within an organic herbal company, in Bristol, where I now live. I have gained a great deal of experience working on a wide variety of projects, with clients worldwide. Having always been involved in sales and marketing, I have always been dedicated to meeting the needs of my clients, and going that one step further to provide the best possible support. I love getting to know their business and what is important to them, in order to deliver exactly what they need.
I have always been highly organised, and enjoyed using my skills to help others, even as a student! I remember many requests from friends at university to type their essays and dissertations, in exchange for tickets to various gigs! This is why I love the work that I do – being as organised as I am, I really enjoy using the skills and experience I have, to ease the pressure of others.
I originally became interested in holistic health when I was travelling 8 years ago – from spending 10 days in the mountains of Sydney, Australia on a Vipassana meditation course, to experiencing Reflexology in Indonesia. I felt so inspired upon my return to the UK, by the people I’d met and the experiences I’d had, that I decided to study Reflexology in London. I’ve been a qualified Reflexologist for 6 years now, and have also completed courses in Reiki I and II during this time.
I have had the opportunity to learn from some inspiring holistic teachers when studying Reflexology and Reiki, and I now want to use the skills and experience I have to help people like them.
It is this belief in holistic living that helps drive me in my business, as I appreciate that we are all individuals, with unique principles and needs. I offer my clients a bespoke service, tailored to their specific requirements. It is my strong commitment to clients that has always been at the forefront of everything I do, no matter how large or small the project.
